1. Vacuum coating
Vacuum coating is a common plastic electroplating method. It generates a few microns of metal film on the surface of plastic products by heating a certain metal in a vacuum environment. This method can provide plastic products with a metallic feel of the coating, and also has certain wear resistance and corrosion resistance.

2. Chemical chromium plating
Chemical chromium plating is an alternative plastic electroplating method. It does not use the traditional electrochemical method, but uses chemical reactions to deposit chromium on the plastic surface. Since there is no electrolyte, the life of the fixture and the machine is greatly improved. Chemical chromium plating has good corrosion resistance, wear resistance and aesthetics.

3. Anodizing
Anodizing technology can also be used for plastic electroplating. This method is to electrolyze plastic products in an acidic electrolyte to form an oxide layer. This oxide layer will enhance the wear resistance and high temperature resistance of the plastic surface. At the same time, the thickness of the oxide layer can also be controlled, so different color effects can be produced.

4. Spray plating
Spray plating can give the plastic surface an effect similar to electroplating, which is a rare plastic electroplating technology. This technology sprays electroplated pigments onto the plastic surface, which looks very conspicuous due to the metal component. However, since this technology is not as wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant as traditional electroplating, it is mainly used for decoration.

5. Electrophoretic coating
Electrophoretic coating is a plastic electroplating method that applies paint to the plastic surface. This electrophoretic paint coating has very good wear and corrosion resistance and has good environmental performance. In terms of color selection, electrophoretic coating is very flexible and can achieve almost any color.
