Core Engineering Capabilities

We design and build production-ready injection molds tailored to your specific mechanical, cosmetic, and volume requirements. Every tool is engineered using advanced CAD/CAM systems (UG/NX, SolidWorks) and validated via CAE mold flow simulation prior to cutting steel.

Mold Design & Simulation Parameters
• Typical Tolerance Capability: +/-0.01mm to +/-0.02mm (adjusted for part geometry and resin shrinkage).
• DFM & Mold Flow Analysis: Evaluates gate location, weld line distribution, volumetric shrinkage, and cooling efficiency to eliminate short shots, warpage, and sink marks before machining.
• Complex Mechanisms: Expert in multi-cavity layouts, hydraulic/mechanical slide actions, lifters, collapsible cores, and hot-runner systems (Yudo, Synventive, etc.).

Steel Selection & Tool Lifespan

Tool steel is selected based on your target production volume, abrasive properties of the resin, and surface finish requirements.

Plastic Material Compatibility

Mold shrinkage rates, melt temperatures, and ejection properties are factored directly into the core/cavity dimensions for a wide range of engineering and commodity resins:

Commodity Plastics

ABS, PP, PE, PVC

Engineering Plastics

PC, PA (Nylon 6/66), POM, PMMA (Acrylic)

Elastomers

TPU, TPE

End-to-End Tooling Workflow

DFM Review & Optimization: Analysis of draft angles, wall thickness transitions, gate placement, and parting line feasibility.

3D Tooling Design: Complete structural layout including cooling circuits, ejection pin maps, and runner systems submitted for client approval.

Precision Machining: High-speed CNC milling, EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining), and wire cutting to maintain tight dimensional control.

T1 Trial & Inspection: Mold testing executed on-site. Dimensional reports (CMM), injection parameters, and initial sample photos provided.

Dispatch & Support: Molds shipped with spare component kits, steel certification reports, and injection processing parameter sheets.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What inputs are required to start a mold design?

A: Please provide 3D product files (STEP, IGES, or STL format), target plastic resin grade, desired surface finish (SPI or VDI standard), and estimated annual production volume.

Q: Do you perform trial testing before shipping the mold?

A: Yes. Every mold undergoes T1 trial sampling using your specified resin. We inspect part dimensions and surface cosmetics, and supply initial trial samples along with a complete inspection report and processing parameter log.

Q: What is your policy on mold ownership and maintenance?

A: The mold belongs entirely to the client upon final payment. We maintain detailed tool history records and supply replacement wear components (e.g., ejector pins, springs) upon request.
